| you guys... i think we're almost half way through summer.
but here are some pictures!!

kellee, me, julia, and cyndi. can you guess where we are?

brittany and i in a cafe right across from notre dame. if you look
out the window you can sort of see it..
statue in the louvre that captivated me. beautiful and sad.

the queen's gardens in versailles! nice bedroom view, huh?
me in heidelberg. the ruins are to my right, but out of the shot. oops.
dinkelsbuhl! tiny little town with cute houses and a funny name.
rapeseed oil, used to make canola oil, comes from these pretty
flowers that were all over germany.
neuschwanstein castle, built by mad king ludwig II, used as
a model for cinderella's castle in disneyland.
again, only now with a very very cold me.
me and cindy on a ferry boat from the island of lido (where our hotel was) to the main island of venice!
venice! san marco's square, san marco's basilica.
trying to capture the alleyways of venice... and failing.

julia, kellee, cindy sitting on the side of the main canal.

julia, cindy, me on our way back to lido on another day... little did
we know that we were on the wrong boat and were headed to punta
sabbioni. we found that out later.
(earlier that day) on the island of burano where all the houses were painted - cindy matched that one.
kellee, cindy, me, brittany on our way back to mainland italy.
the pope, graffiti, a motorbike. we are in rome.
laundry.

kellee and i at the coliseum. it's too bright to see any of it though...
cindy and brittany in the coliseum, looking out onto the roman forum
(left side of picture) and a church i forgot the name of (right side of
picture). also too bright.
a snapshot of roman traffic: buses (ours was doubledecker), cars,
people, bikes, motorbikes, and horse carriages? with no definite lanes.
our driver was a beautiful man.
me, on top of the dome of st. peter's basilica in vatican city.
those are some of the better pictures i took with people in them; i
figured architechtural shots would get mundane after a while (but if
you want them, i've got about 750 of them!!) this is a very late entry.

| you're no more help than ask jeeves.
THANKS A LOT :)

| okay
you know how most people's irises just rest in the center of their eye
socket, and the top and the bottom of their iris is cut off by eyelids
because it's just resting in the center?
well, when people have hyper-extended eyeballs (that's the best way I
can think to describe it) and either the top or bottom of their iris is
exposed, leaving a thin rim of white eyeball all the way around the
top/bottom before the spot where the eyelid naturally rests - is that
because their eyelid muscle is weak and it sags, or because their eye sockets are
too big or their irises are just smaller circles than most people's?
I DON'T KNOW!!!!! but i'd love your imput.
(i searched google images for eyeballs to help illustrate my question,
but i just got a lot of pictures of people with their eyeballs sticking
out of their heads and it made me throw up, so honestly i'm sorry but i
don't think i can stand to search through enough photos to actually
find what i'm looking for).
